Terms of Use

1. Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between you and Nutrition Pulse, the developer and operator of the Nutrition Pulse mobile app (the “App”, “we”). By creating an account or using the App you accept these terms. How your personal data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. The service

The App is a nutrition tracking tool that helps you log food and weight, estimate your energy expenditure and calorie and macro targets from the information and logs you provide, and update them weekly. It also includes AI-assisted food photo analysis and the optional, entertainment-only Cosmic Rhythm feature.

3. Not medical advice

The App is not a healthcare service or a medical device and does not diagnose or treat anything. Its figures are estimates based on widely used formulas and the data you enter, and may not fit your personal situation.

Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or weight. In particular, do not follow the App’s recommendations without medical approval if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of eating disorders, diabetes, kidney, heart or other chronic conditions, or take regular medication. If you feel unwell, stop following the recommendations and seek professional help.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes; not to try to compromise its security or operation, access its source code without permission, overload it with automated tools or circumvent usage limits; and not to upload content that infringes the rights of others.

6. AI features

Food photo analysis and similar features are powered by AI and can be wrong. It is up to you to check recognised foods, portions and nutrition values before logging them. These features are subject to daily usage limits.

7. Cosmic Rhythm

Cosmic Rhythm is an entertainment feature based on astronomical calculations and your own logs. It has no scientific or medical basis; don’t make nutrition or training decisions based on it alone.

8. Pricing

The App is currently free. Paid features or subscriptions may be offered in the future; their prices and terms will be shown clearly before they apply, and purchases are subject to the terms of the relevant app store (App Store, Google Play).

9. Intellectual property and your content

All rights in the App, its design, software and content belong to us; you receive a limited, non-transferable right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. The data you enter remains yours; you allow us to process it only to provide the service.

10. Availability

We may change, add or remove features to improve the App. We make reasonable efforts to keep it running without errors, but the service may be interrupted temporarily for maintenance, failures or reasons outside our control. The App is provided “as is”.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from decisions based on the App’s estimates, data loss or service interruptions. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the App (More → Delete account); your data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously breach these terms.

13. Changes

We may update these terms and will inform you of significant changes; continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
